This grill room is like the restaurants in the north of Spain, but it is one-minute walk from the beach.
It only opens at lunch time, except on Thursdays, and it is closed at night. It is small and cosy. The service is kind and personalized. There are wide tables, and the cutlery and dishes they use match the food which is served.
There are few but rather elaborate dishes, and the stress is on the wood-fired ovens, considering that this is a typical grill restaurant. The starters that stand out are: eggs with boletus, foie gras, truffle, house salad and Serrano Ham (cured Spanish ham). The main courses are: steak tartare, Spanish bull tail stew, beef sirloin, and ox steak, which stars the menu. Moreover, there are home-made desserts (crème brûlée, chocolate coulant and cheese mousse) and quality spirits. Their wine list is very long and includes some rather fine wines, many different types and wines from varied regions.
It is placed in Caleta de Vélez, next to the Sports Centre.
