In old times, the building used to be a private dwelling, and the last miller left the place more than thirty years ago. The remodelling tasks were executed taking extreme precautions as to keep the old building and ensure all the additions made matched the original structure.

However, it is also the ideal place for all those who may wish to use this hotel as a point of departure to explore the fascinating surrounding nature areas. No wonder that the hotel is included in very well known travel guides such as "Pequeños Hoteles con Encanto" (Small Charming Hotels) published by El Paîs-Aguilar, the "Michelin Guide" or the "Volvo Guide".

This swimming pool is heated by solar panels. You can find lawns next to it provided with sun chairs where you can relax and have a nice time on sunny days.

The spacious dining room and the bar offer the guests a cute area where they can taste exquisite dishes or have a drink. The external terrace, full of bushes and flowers, next to the river, offers the possibility to enjoy lunch and dinner from May through to October; also an ideal place to take coffee or tea.

The quality of the food at “El Molino” has given the hotel much of its prestige. Based on local and regional dishes, it offers an exhaustive menu that changes with the seasons, but always maintaining a wide variety of meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes, accompanied –as anyone would expect– by the wines from its extensive bodega.
