UNIQUENESS
This inn is a hundred years old. It is placed at the River Genal, in a unique area known as San Juan's Bridge. Its owners used to set off to Gibraltar from there in order to trade with the English.
CHARACTERISTICS
The inn opens every day from June to October in order to welcome plenty of guests who come to see many dramatic beauty spots that surround the Genal River or form part of the Genal Valley. This inn's speciality is meat, above all, venison in its gravy, farm bull tail stew, chicken stew, rabbit stew or lamb legs stew. Moreover, they offer a variety of home-made desserts, such as delicious crème caramel with chestnut, egg, turron, or fruit, chocolate mousse, etc.
LOCATION
The inn is placed next to the bridge that goes over the Genal River and San Juan Camp Site, between three towns – Jubrique, Algatocín and Genalguacil. Stage 4 of the Great Málaga Pah in the Serranía de Ronda (Long-distance Path, GR 141) goes past it.
