This building is made according to the high-class 19th-century architectural style. It has been owned by the same family for more than 200 years, and it is part of the town architectural heritage.
It has nine apartments with one, two or three beds. Six bedrooms have one double bed, two have two double beds and the attic has three beds. The decoration is different in each one of them. There are cable TV, air-conditioning, central heating, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom in each room and a washing machine. Families with children are offered cribs, and there is space that can be shared, such as dining room, library or reading areas. There are two patios.
The swimming pool is in the backyard, and it is adapted for disabled people.
The hotel is placed close to the Puerta Real, which are walls of the town that surround San Juan Bautista [St John the Baptist] Church, the town's most important temple. This neighbourhood is made of small alleys connected to bigger streets where several town's landmarks are. Vélez-Málaga is the end of stages 2 and 3 of the Great Málaga Path (Long-distance path, GD 249).
