Itinerary
Easy stage that covers 7.7 km between the municipalities of Moclinejo and Rincón de la Victoria. The route will take about 2 hours and a half, with a smooth profile and a net difference in altitude of 836 meters.
Summary
Begin this stage at the Fuente de El Chorro in the direction of the “Vereda de la Cuesta de Granadilla” drovers’ road, where it joins up with the SL-A 68 Moclinejo-Totalán footpath.
For a large part of the route, the path winds through the hills that form the boundary between the municipal districts of Moclinejo and Rincón de la Victoria, where it coincides with the SL-A 83 Arroyo Granadilla - La Capitana footpath.
As you walk down to the river Granadilla, you will enjoy the views over the Axarquía and the eastern coast of Malaga, one of the main attractions of this stage. Once you reach the stream, continue along the Realenga de Moclinejo drovers’ road, following the course of the stream, which coincides with the SL-A 82 Arroyo Granadilla - Cerro Tío Caña footpath.
The stage ends at the Rincón de la Victoria beach, joining the GR 249 Gran Senda de Málaga and the Senda Litoral.
